1900
Louis Andreas Torgersen starts a Saddlery
in Greenland in Christiania.
1919
The founder, Hans Kristian Torgersen start a
Saddlery in Oslo. The work consists in making harnesses and
hestesadler.
1954
Arne Torgersen take over the business and form
His company Torgerson & Son in Oslo. The main product is
omtrekking of cars inside and becomes the seat cover.
1960
The first chapel productions start as
tarpaulins for VW Pickup.
1966
The company will move out from the city center and established themselves in
Skui in Bærum. Torgersen and his son is continuing to
car seat covers, tarpaulins and chapel to the trucks.
1969
After 3 years the company moves on to the Krøderen
Buskerud. There, it developed two modern workshops.
Including a fully automatic welding machines for duksveis.
This means that the product is plastic hall accelerating, and a
factory that produces steel structure to the halls and
chapel stands are constructed.
1984
Third generation takes over the company and Torgerson
conducting a demerger. Hans Kristian Torgersen takes over
department for car seat covers, Jan Erik Torgersen Truls
takes over the production of truck and hall chapels in Plamek.
Hallmaker group is now a Norwegian industrial company with production and sales in many countries. Hallmaker group turnover of more than xx million. We are also working to develop Norwegian industry and currently owns several different businesses.
